What If
Step into a possible future.
Long-term financial products are chosen today but experienced over years or decades. What If lets you change a condition and see why it could matter.
The goal is not to predict the future. It is to make the effect of changing conditions easier to see.
Featured scenario
What if I live longer than expected?
Each What If experience isolates a condition, lets you change it, and shows how the result responds.
What changed
How long the income has to last.
What stayed constant
The $5,000 a year, the 6% gross return, and the cost layers.
What this does not establish
How long anyone will actually live, or what a specific contract pays.
Scenario library
Change one thing. See what happens.
Every What If lives here. Each one isolates a single condition, and the set grows over time.
Questions in development
Costs and friction
Liquidity
Transparency
How to read a What If.
What changed
The one condition the slider moves, and nothing else.
What stayed constant
Every other input, listed under each model.
What the model shows
How the result responds to that condition, in dollars.
What it does not establish
What the future will do, or how a specific contract behaves.
What If scenarios are general educational analyses. They do not predict future markets, inflation, interest rates, longevity, or product performance, and unless stated otherwise they are not simulations of a particular annuity contract or LS Review.
Two different questions
The Review investigates the product. What If changes the conditions around it.
You cannot know the future. You can understand more about what could matter.
A Review establishes what the product in front of you actually commits to.
